Phonak Hearing Aids in Scotland

Phonak are one of the world’s leading hearing aid manufacturers, based in Zurich, Switzerland. They combine state-of-the-art technology with four decades of expertise and innovation. They provide solutions for all degrees of hearing loss, including a special pediatric range for children.

The V Series

Phonak’s V hearing aids are based on Phonak’s high-speed Venture microprocessor, which offers twice the processing power while reducing battery consumption by 30%.  The AutoSense operating system accurately captures sound in real-time and automatically adjusts settings to suit the user’s environment.

Binaural VoiceStream Technology streams full audio bandwidth in real-time using bi-directional microphones. This provides users with excellent sound quality and speech understanding and enables a range of automatic and manual features for optimized hearing. These include numerous programs such as Speech in Loud Noise, Comfort in Echo, and DuoPhone, designed to enhance hearing in different situations. Users can fine-tune programs to their preferences and needs.

Most of the hearing aids are compatible with Phonak’s CROS II system, designed for people with single-sided hearing loss. Phonak also produces a range of compatible devices, such as the innovative Roger range of digital wireless microphones and receivers.
