In order to offer the best care to those who need us, keep our patients and staff safe whilst still meeting the current government guidelines we are now operating under the following strict measures:
• We are ONLY providing essential and urgent hearing health services by appointment, all routine appointments have been postponed
• Our Edinburgh clinic at 2 Stafford Street, will be open Monday to Friday 10am – 3pm for the foreseeable future with a minimal staff (an Audiologist, a nurse and front of house manager)
• Our Morpeth clinic at 55 Bridge Street, will be open Monday to Friday 11am – 3pm
• To alleviate any groups of people waiting outside our clinics, if you arrive by car please stay in the car and call the appropriate clinic to let them know you have arrived

• If you have to wait on the street for your appointment, please ensure you keep a 2 metre distance from others
• Once in the clinic every precaution is being taken to keep both patients and staff safe
- You will be asked to wash your hands on arrival
- You will be taken directly to the consulting room once the previous patient has already left the clinic
- All surfaces and consulting rooms are wiped down between patients
- Disposable gloves are worn for each patient by all consulting staff
- Our nursing staff will also wear disposable aprons for any wax removal treatments
• Our audiologists are on hand to support you with key issues remotely - this includes by phone and email at enquiries@houseofhearing.co.uk
• We can send out batteries directly to patients instead of them travelling to us

Please note, we are here to help anyone that needs us, this includes our existing patients, NHS patients and patients from other providers if required.
