Free Hearing Tests in Galashiels

Your hearing test is completely free and will be carried out by an experienced Audiologist in our dedicated Galashiels clinic. Every consultation includes:

• A visual ear examination to check for any excessive earwax build-up, and to assess the overall physical health of the outer ear
• A comprehensive Pure Tone Audiometry test, using both air conduction and bone conduction testing, to map your full hearing range across different pitches

After your hearing test, your Audiologist will talk you through your results using your audiogram. This is a simple visual chart that shows how well you hear different sounds, pitches and speech.

Your Audiologist will explain everything clearly, answer any questions you may have, and recommend the most appropriate next steps to help you protect or improve your hearing.
