Daniel Foxcroft

Daniel Foxcroft is an Audiologist based in Galashiels, bringing a unique combination of life experience, clinical training and personal understanding to his role.

Before entering audiology, Daniel spent a decade working on luxury cruise ships around the world, eventually becoming Operations Manager for 19 onboard spa facilities. This experience shaped his approach to care, with a strong focus on service, attention to detail and creating a calm, welcoming environment for every individual.

After moving to Edinburgh in 2015, Daniel transitioned into healthcare, managing medical aesthetic clinics. It was during this time, following his own experience with hearing difficulties and becoming a hearing aid user, that he chose to retrain as an audiologist. He went on to qualify at Aston University, bringing both professional expertise and personal insight into the challenges of hearing loss.

Daniel has since worked across clinics in Edinburgh and the Borders, and now supports patients full time in Galashiels. His own journey allows him to relate closely to the people he sees, offering reassurance, understanding and practical guidance at every stage.

He takes a personalised approach to hearing care, recognising that no two experiences of hearing loss are the same. By combining modern hearing technology with a supportive and unhurried environment, Daniel helps patients find solutions that feel natural, comfortable and easy to live with.

As Daniel explains, “Everyone’s hearing journey is different, and that’s what makes this work so rewarding. Being able to offer the right support in a relaxed environment, with the best technology available, means I can help each patient find what works best for them.”
