Phillip J C Page
RHAD, MSHAA
Audiologist
Phillip Page is a Senior Audiologist based in St Andrews, bringing over two decades of experience in hearing care alongside a uniquely diverse professional background.
Before entering audiology, Phillip served in the military, spending time in Germany and Northern Ireland. He then went on to lead overland expeditions across Africa, South America and Asia, followed by working as a game ranger in South Africa, guiding photographic safaris. These experiences have shaped his calm, adaptable and people-focused approach, qualities that continue to define his work today.
After returning to the UK in 2000, Phillip retrained as an audiologist and has since built extensive clinical experience, working for over 20 years across Glasgow and Edinburgh before joining House of Hearing.
Phillip has a strong commitment to person-centred care. In 2008, he was invited to attend the inaugural session of the Ida Institute, an independent organisation dedicated to improving communication and patient-centred approaches in hearing rehabilitation. This philosophy remains central to his work, ensuring that every patient is supported in a way that reflects their individual needs, lifestyle and priorities.
He takes the time to understand how hearing loss is affecting each person’s daily life, offering clear, tailored recommendations that help restore confidence in communication. His approach is grounded in trust, expertise and a genuine desire to improve quality of life.
As Phillip explains, “ I’m passionate about helping people stay connected with the people around them. At House of Hearing, I’m able to draw on a wide range of technology and expertise to find the best solution for each individual .”
Phillip’s depth of experience, combined with his thoughtful and personable approach, makes him a trusted clinician for patients in St Andrews and the surrounding area.
