Gavin Muir

Gavin Muir is a Senior Audiologist based in Hamilton, bringing over 20 years of experience in hearing care and a thoughtful, patient-focused approach.

After studying for a business degree at the University of Strathclyde, Gavin initially followed his passion for golf, working in the retail sector for several years. He later chose to pursue a career in audiology, completing his RHAD qualification and going on to build extensive experience across both clinical and leadership roles.

Gavin’s approach to hearing care is shaped not only by his professional experience, but also by a personal understanding of hearing loss within his own family. This has given him a clear appreciation of the impact hearing can have on communication, relationships and everyday life.

He takes the time to understand each patient’s individual needs, offering guidance and solutions that feel practical, comfortable and tailored to their lifestyle. His calm and considered approach helps patients feel supported throughout their hearing journey, from initial assessment through to ongoing care.

As Gavin explains, “Having seen the impact of hearing loss firsthand, I understand how important the right support can be. Being able to spend time with each patient and provide the level of care they need is what makes this role so rewarding.”
