Audiologist

Conor Lawson is a Senior Audiologist based in Edinburgh, bringing a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to hearing care. Since joining House of Hearing in 2016, he has built a strong reputation for combining clinical expertise with a genuine interest in how hearing technology can improve everyday life.

Before moving into audiology, Conor worked in the Anatomy Department at the University of Edinburgh, where he developed a strong interest in physiology and how the body functions. He went on to qualify in Hearing Aid Audiology at Queen Margaret University, building on this foundation to pursue a career focused on helping people hear more clearly and confidently.

Conor has a particular interest in how advances in hearing technology can be tailored to individual needs. He keeps up to date with the latest developments in hearing aids and assistive listening devices, ensuring that each patient benefits from solutions that are both clinically appropriate and suited to their lifestyle.

He takes the time to understand how hearing loss is affecting each person day to day, offering clear guidance and personalised recommendations that feel practical and easy to live with.

As Conor explains, “The satisfaction that comes from combining my interest in technology with my desire to make a difference in people’s lives is something I really value. At House of Hearing, I’m given the time and support to do that properly for every patient I see.”

Conor’s calm, considered approach helps patients feel at ease, giving them confidence in both their hearing and the care they receive.
