Andrew Donaldson

RHAD

Audiologist

Andrew Donaldson is an Audiologist supporting patients across East Kilbride and Newton Mearns, bringing nearly two decades of experience in hearing care alongside a strong interest in technology and education.

Andrew began his career with a hearing technology provider, where he completed intensive training before going on to study audiology at De Montfort University. With a background in both technology and teaching, he developed a natural affinity for hearing care, particularly in understanding how modern devices can be tailored to support everyday communication.

He has worked across a variety of clinical settings, including domiciliary care in Dumfries and Galloway and managing a clinic in Ayrshire, where he also supported the training of students entering the profession. Over the years, Andrew has worked with patients across Scotland and the wider UK, gaining experience with a broad range of hearing needs and technologies.

Andrew has a particular interest in how digital connectivity, apps and Bluetooth-enabled devices can enhance the hearing experience. He takes the time to guide patients through these features in a clear and practical way, helping them feel confident using their hearing technology in day-to-day life.

His approach is centred around making hearing care accessible and understandable, ensuring that each patient feels supported from the outset. For Andrew, the most rewarding part of his role is seeing the immediate impact that better hearing can have. Helping someone reconnect with conversations and feel more confident is what continues to drive his work.

Andrew’s combination of technical expertise , teaching experience and approachable manner makes him a trusted clinician for patients across East Kilbride, Newton Mearns and the surrounding areas.
