Miranda began her career in healthcare as a Speech and Language Therapist, gradually specialising working with deaf children and adults in a variety of settings. It was while working in auditory rehabilitation at the Portland Hospital Cochlear Implant programme in London that she became fascinated with audiology and decided to complete a masters in Audiological Science. Since qualifying she has worked in the NHS with children and adults, more recently as a senior audiologist and Team Lead in Paediatric Audiology at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, and at NHS Lothian.
Miranda is a member of AHCS and British Academy of Audiology.
I am passionate about the capacity for the best quality hearing technology, delivered in a kind, supportive and clinically excellent environment, to transform lives. Hearing well helps us remain connected to the world around us, to the people that matter to us, and to participate and live life to the fullest. To join and support people on their hearing journey, and to have the time and space to provide ongoing truly personalised aftercare, is a privilege - and the reason I love my work as an audiologist.
