Aimee Hughes
Aural Care Practitioner | Hamilton
Aimee Hughes

Aimee brings a wealth of clinical expertise to House of Hearing, with a background rooted in high-level medical care and a passion for helping others. She holds a BSc, RM and a PgCert in Neonatal Care, and first qualified as a Staff Midwife in 2010.

For more than 13 years, Aimee worked in Neonatal Intensive Care, supporting sick and premature babies and their families through some of their most challenging moments. She went on to become a Senior Neonatal Midwife, developing exceptional clinical skills, calm under pressure, and a deeply compassionate approach to patient care.

Aimee’s interest in aural care began closer to home, when her youngest daughter experienced ongoing ear problems that required regular wax removal and audiology support. Seeing first-hand the difference expert ear care can make led her to explore a new path — one that allowed her to continue caring for people while learning a specialist skill.

As an Aural Care Practitioner, Aimee delivers safe and gentle wax removal and ear health assessments with warmth and professionalism. She loves being able to provide reassurance, comfort, and clear results for patients of all ages.

Aimee takes great pride in helping people hear more comfortably and confidently, and is an invaluable part of the House of Hearing clinical team.
