Edinburgh

House of Hearing Edinburgh House of Hearing's flagship branch is in Edinburgh's Stafford Street, and has been established for over forty years. From humble beginnings, when David Fairfield, the founder of House of Hearing, and father of current managing director Stephen, started a small operation in a single-room premises, gradual expansion and refurbishment has seen the office grow to include impressive consulting rooms in the basement and on the first floor.

The Edinburgh office boasts the cutting edge hearing testing and verification facilities that you would expect, including an extended high-frequency audiometry testing suite, and the latest probe mic measurement technology.

Stafford Street is right in the heart of Edinburgh's thriving West End community, a short walk from Princes Street and Haymarket railway station. House of Hearing's premises are at number 2, between Yorkshire Building Society and O'Brien's Sandwich Bar. Onstreet parking is available close by.

The reception is staffed mainly by Ruth Porteous, daughter of David and sister of Stephen, maintaining the strong family business ethos which has always been the foundation of the service and customer care at House of Hearing.
