House of Hearing was founded in the 1960s, when amplification for hearing was still in its infancy. Our consulting services continue to flourish due to the support of referrals from the medical profession and the kind recommendations of clients.

We realise that numerous questions need to be answered before the fitting of a hearing aid is embarked upon and our staff are happy to discus the various aspects in a relaxed counselling environment before any decision is made.

As an independent centre, we are able to deal with all major manufacturers, and thus have access to the widest possible selection of hearing aids.

No charge is made for home visiting and advice and testing are undertaken free and without obligation to purchase an aid. All hearing aids are issued on a free trial basis and subsequent purchase is dependent on user satisfaction.

Free credit facilities are available for those wishing to pay over a period.
